Migrant Voice 'Meet-Up'

Launching 30th October - come and join us

This new initiative will create a monthly space where we meet and have an informal discussion over a cup of coffee about what’s happening around us and around the world. This is a space for people to gather, heal, organise and grow. This is an inclusive, safe and equal space, a space where our different journeys are acknowledged /celebrated/ and our stories are told. We will come and be together, we will organise, take action to create a better future for our society. 

Open to: Migrants, those with a migrant background, or anyone who is involved or interested in migration work. 

Our Meet-up activities will evolve as the year progresses but will include 

Conversation and deliberation: where we meet and have an informal discussion over a cup of coffee about what’s happening around us and around the world 

Creative Activism: turning our experiences and messaging into creative materials and actions for our campaigns

Our Space: sharing creative and wellbeing activities including poetry and performance

Media labs training: to get our voices heard - upcoming topics to include photography, blogging, creative writing, digital literacy, interviews, podcasts, telling your story to the media

Venue: Migrant Voice’s London office

Time: The last Thursday of every month 5:30-8pm starting 30 October, 2025.
