Migrant Voice - Glasgow Network Meeting - Saying No to Hate

We invite you to join us at our October Network Meeting 'Saying No to Hate'. In light of the events and the hatred we've witnessed during the summer and the impact that these actions have had on our communities, we would like to invite you to a safe space where we will be discussing, planning and organising. We are holding this space to reclaim the narrative, plan strategically to counter hate, racism and bigotry, and organise to build our communal power.

At the session, you’ll hear from representatives of anti-racism and migrant-led organisations and meet many fellow Migrant Voice network members for an engaging, solutions-oriented exchange.

Migration is a natural human activity, not a problem. The problem is weaponising migration for political purposes. The UK is home to people from different backgrounds and this is what makes it great. The attempts to politicise people's identities and scapegoat people who are different is unacceptable and doesn't represent Britain.

Please join us on 30th October from 5.30 until 8.30 pm.

Venue address will be sent to those who sign up. Bath St, Glasgow G2
