A webinar on responding to the government’s consultation into “earned settlement."

The government’s consultation into “earned settlement” is due to close on February 12th, 2026. This consultation gives us an opportunity to oppose the new policies and share our experiences for why we need a better system which treats all migrants with dignity. The consultation itself has some areas which seem designed to catch people out though.

Together with a number of other organisations, we have compiled some basic guidance on how we feel the consultation could be completed to best argue the case for a genuinely fairer system.

On Tuesday February 3rd, from 4pm to 5:30pm, we are collaborating with other organisations to host a webinar to go through some of the ways we think the consultation could be filled in.
