Migrant Voice - Two MV members speak to ITV London about TOEIC injustice

On February 9, ITV London News interviewed two Migrant Voice members – Nidhin Chand and a man who wished to remain anonymous – about how the TOEIC injustice has impacted them.

It came as a BBC Newsnight investigation, aired that evening, revealed new evidence which was a huge boost for our #MyFutureBack campaign.

The investigation has found evidence that the data used by the Home Office to remove thousands of students from the UK based on allegations of cheating was seriously flawed. It further questions why the Home Office continued taking actions against the students knowing there were issues with the evidence.

"It's a trauma nobody should go through, no students, no humans," Nidhin told ITV London News.

"The scar will be there in our hearts and I don't think we will ever come out of that."

The other MV member told ITV London News: "I can't sleep at night, I'm always thinking about what can I do to prove my innocence to the Home Office?"
