Launch of our campaign to combat misinformation – Don’t knows Do Care

Every day we see rampant misinformation and hostility directed at migrants and our communities. It comes from all quarters, politicians, public, press and pundits.

We have seen hate crimes increasing and growing divisions across the country. We have seen immigration treated as an easy scapegoat for wider issues, and whole communities demonised and attacked.

That is why Migrant Voice is launching our “Don’t knows do care” campaign, to combat misinformation about migration and ensure that the voices of migrants are heard.

 Most people in this country are not anti-migrants, they are not racists or xenophobes, but many are being fed a daily diet of false or misleading information about migration from those who see migrants as an easy attack line. 

We know “the don’t knows” in the public do care. Help us ensure that people get the information they need to make genuine, informed, decisions, and understand the reality of migrant’s lives.
