 Migrant Voice - Migrant Voice 2013 launched


Migrant Voice has launched the new issue of our Migrant Voice newspaper.

The paper was launched in London on the 12th of September at 6.30pm at Migrant Voice, Lighthouse West London.

The launch in London featured a media seminar with presentations from: William Allen, research officer at the Migration Observatory, and Victoria Brittain, author and former associate foreign editor of the Guardian.

The session was chaired by: Daniel Nelson, journalist and editor oneworld.net

The paper was launched in Birmingham on September 17th at 6.30pm at The Birmingham and Midland Institute, with presentations from Dr Fathi Jamil from Community Resource Information Service and Paul Fulford, The Birmingham Mail and; in Glasgow on September 19th, at 5.30-7pm at the Napiershall Street Centre. Professor Colin Clark, Professor Sociology and Social Polocy, University of the West of Scotland, gave a presentation.

A documentary about the making of the Migrant Voice paper was screened at each of the launch events.
