Migrant Voice and Art Represent Invite you to 'My Voice' Our event for parliament week Wednesday the 19th of November, 6.00 - 8.30 pm at Art Present, 264 Globe Road, London E2 0JD Come and join us for an evening on the importance of migrant voices being heard. We invite you to get creative and express your voice on our graffiti wall together with our visual artist.  Start a dialogue following performances from poets and spoken word artists. Let us represent, speak, write and draw – our views about voice, democracy, parliament, and importance of having your voice heard. The event will be followed by a networking reception. This event as part of Parliament week, which is an annual, national event. Parliament Week 2014 will take place from 14-20 November 2014. It is a national initiative that aims to build greater awareness, understanding and engagement with parliamentary democracy in the UK. For more information please go to: The event is open to all. About Art Represent: Set up to connect artists from remote and distressed regions including Tibet, north Korea, Syria, Afghanistan to the wider public. Art Represent works with exceptional artists to make beautiful, affordable, limited edition prints and ceramics. We believe everyone deserves the right of expression. With each piece of art work, there is a hidden story from the most unexpected places.
