You are warmly invited to the launch of Migrant Voice's Documentary 'The Faces of Our City: Stories of Migration Past and Present' and a panel discussion: Can migrants’ engagement in the European elections shift the balance away from anti-immigrant MEPs? From 6.00 pm - 8.00 pm On Thursday the 24th of April at Europe House 32 Smith Square London SW1P 3EU. The Faces of Our City documentary is about migration to London new and old. It tells a positive story of diversity and of communities living and working together in London. Join us as we follow them on their journeys. Bringing us the perspectives from Europe is the European Commission Representative to the UK, Jackie Minor and Green MEP Jean Lambert; whilst the UK perspective will be brought to us by Simon Wooley, Director of Operation Black Vote and a commissioner for race on the Equality and Human Rights Commission. Please confirm your attendance to dena@migrantvoice.org. This event is part of Migrant Voice's Face2Face Project co-financed by the European Integration Fund.
